I love how barely going 10 Km over a very small 50 Km/H speed limit lands me a ticket when the city of Calgary is on track to set a new homicide record this year.
Instead of stopping someone doing 60 in a 50 zone, maybe the cops should focus more of their attention on crime prevention. Or maybe, and this is a radical thought, catch the criminals that have eluded them thus far.
This is a joke. I don't even fricking jaywalk! How the hell did I get a speeding ticket?
I'm really annoyed by this actually. This has proven to me that I have misplaced faith in the justice system of this country. Pfff.

break the ice.
It's been pointed out a few times to me that I haven't updated this thing in a while. Changing that right... now.
Not much is going on with me. Reading break is almost over and pretty soon I'll be back to the grind of school. Although, technically, I never left the grind because I've got 2 midterms coming up next week so I've had to actually use my reading break to, well, read. In case I never mentioned it, I finished up first semester and did pretty swell for the most part. I'm looking to do better this semester though, get at least a 3.3 GPA this term which averages out to B+ in all my classes, which is super doable though. Oh, speaking of school, I got accepted to be a U of C 101 leader come September. They do their frosh week differently here, first off, it lasts 2 days not a whole week and you have to apply and be accepted. Weird, but oh well.
Ummm, I've been working a lot lately. Like 4 days a week. Definitely not as much as I worked last year while in school so it's still manageable, but I work enough to make me sick of the place, hahaha. Oh well, when I average around 20-22 bucks an hour I can deal with 20 hours a week, haha.
Uhhhhh, I bought an external hard drive the other day? 500GB. It's pretty slick and makes the geek in me happy. Now I just have to stop by the Micro Store on Campus Monday morning to get my copy of Leopard.
Yeah... I got nothing else to talk about. Oh! One of my favourite stores, H&M is opening up a new location 10 minutes away from me, so I'm pretty stoked. Now if only American Apparel would open up something either downtown or near me then I'd be all set, because I hate having to go down to 17th just for them. Buuuut, I guess I should shop on 17th more since they have some pretty cool stores, the only thing is that it's so out of the way. Ughz.
